Workspace Wednesday!

so...too much going on around here with the last child getting ready to graduate in a couple weeks.  we had Band Banquet, the last band concert ever (last of 4 kids through the band program), Prom and Senior Pictures all in a week's time.  needless to say...not much art has been getting done but i try to get a little in each day.

these are projects im currently working on...

Week 17 of the Chronicles Project at Wonderstrange Arts is done...i think.

and these are a few little canvases im working on.  having fun playing with this style.  hoping to have these available in my etsy shop soon.

i love trying new things but im still hoping to find that one thing that is truly mine.  the only way to get there, im told...is to make more art.  so i will!

thanks for stopping by!

I love your art and I love what you said, ....the only way to get there is to make more art!!! Love it! Happy WOYWW! #66 Angie

    1. thanks, Angie! dont take a second for granted and enjoy those kids! i cant believe after more than 20 years we will no longer have a child in our public school. no more first days of school, open houses, programs, concerts, games, contests. im really in disbelief. an entirely new season of life is upon us and im not sure from one moment to the next whether to be sad, terrified or excited. the tears will be flowing when my baby walks across that stage in a couple of weeks and the house is going to seem so empty when we drop them off at college and come back to their empty room. art will be my salvation!

im so glad you love my little guys. they are inspired by you in so many ways that i sometimes worry that im just creating incredibly poor copies of your genius. i am having such fun playing with them though and they really make me ridiculously happy!

From my perspective, they don't look like copies (definitely not poor!) at all - you just keep on keepin on!! :D <3
